​Yellow Rocks Energy will develop its flagship A238 project located in northern Mauritania, which has a reported 2004 historic JORC resource of 45.2Mt at 235ppm for 23.4Mlbs.

With a highly prospective 47km long shear zone along strike to the A238 project, Yellow Rocks Energy will provide an abundance of exploration activity and newsflow. The Company is committed to supporting global energy security and playing its part in decarbonisation.

Providing the strategic direction and management is veteran mining executive Marcel Hilmer, who brings more than 30 years’ experience in executive management of global public and private organisations to his position as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Hilmer has significant international mergers and acquisitions expertise, having worked in Africa, Europe, Asia and Australia, and was the chief executive officer and executive director of Forsys Metals for 10 years developing uranium projects in Namibia. Hilmer was also the finance and business development executive at uranium project developer Vimy Resources and worked for six years at First Quantum Minerals, a global developer and producer of base and precious metals mines.

Dr Greg Shirtliff, Non-Executive Director, is the Company’s geologist who brings over 20 years’ of experience in the geology and geochemistry of uranium working with companies such as Rio Tinto and Cameco Australasia.

David Lees, Non-Executive Chairman, held positions in stockbroking and funds management across various firms throughout his career. Mr Lees currently sits on the board of ASX listed C29 Metals Ltd (C29.ASX) and Sultan Resources Ltd (SLZ.ASX), providing strategic input on the operations and engaging with the investor base.

Blaise Thomas, Non-Executive Director, consulting to the mining and resources sector both in Australia and Europe. Mr Thomas has held various public board roles across his career providing invaluable strategic direction.
